Basic balsamic vinaigrette that can be used as a dressing, marinade, or sauce and customized in tons of ways!
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Optional additions: shallots, garlic, herbs such as parsley, thyme, or rosemary
Instructions
  1. Put all the ingredients in a container with a tight fitting lid and shake, shake, shake. Serve on salads, roasted vegetables, use as a marinade or sauce for chicken or other meat. Store in the refrigerator.
